Feed Your Lawn with Our 3-Step Program
Our custom three-step “weed and feed” treatment is a cornerstone of our lawn care service in Annapolis. This nutrient program provides any lawn with the nourishment it needs while simultaneously discouraging weed growth. The three steps include:
- First, we apply POLYON fertilizer at the start of spring to enable a slow release of nitrogen throughout the summer. A herbicide is included in the fertilizer to prevent Crabgrass and Goosegrass from germinating.
- As broadleaf weed activity peaks in late spring, we return to your property to apply additional herbicide controls. We only treat the spots where weeds are active.
- Near the end of summer, we survey your lawn to see what help might be needed. We apply POLYON fertilizer for the fall to give your yard a head start for the following spring.
When you use the weed and feed program, you can look forward to a healthy green lawn throughout each year.
The Advantages of POLYON Fertilizer
At Scientific Plant Service, we search for the best products to incorporate into our lawn care services. One of the best products we have introduced into our programs is POLYON fertilizer.
We use POLYON because it allows us to apply 30 to 50% fewer nutrients to your lawn with the same results as traditional fertilizers. This means that we eliminate the risk of heavy nutrient runoff into your local environment.
When using POLYON, your lawn only needs two granular treatments every year to obtain the necessary nutrition.
