Our Basic 1-2-3 Weed and Feed Program

An essential part of our lawn care service in Maryland is our “weed and feed program.” This three-step system feeds your lawn the nutrients it needs while preventing pesky weed growth.

After the application of our Weed and Feed Program, you can look forward to growing the greenest lawn on the block!

The three steps include: 

  • An early spring POLYON fertilizer application slowly releases nitrogen through late summer. An herbicide is incorporated into the fertilizer to prevent the germination of Crabgrass and Goosegrass.
  • When broadleaf weed activity is peaking in late spring, we return to apply herbicide controls, only treating where weeds are active.
  • Near the end of summer, we scout your lawn for weeds and apply POLYON to feed your lawn in the fall. This fertilizer application will also give your yard a jump start next spring.
